With more people at home juggling summer schedules, Tyson recognized the need to make grilling routines and online purchases easy for families. We partnered with Tyson to encourage Walmart shoppers to buy online, pick up in store (BOPIS) using Display Ads with add-to-cart functionality.
By looking at data in the Valassis Consumer Graph™, we found consumers who were frequent Walmart shoppers and showed an interest in grilling. We also reached people who had previously purchased Tyson meats as well as competitive brands.
Our BOPIS strategy showed the power of our digital approach. Not only did the Add-to-Cart Ads spark strong demand for Tyson products, but they also increased visits to Walmart stores.
